Hi My name is Rachel Davies I'm 35 years old and I am a female carer with 3 half years of experience working in a residential care home. I would love to do some domiciliary care in my town of hay-on-wye locally in my area would be great. I would also try and fit it in and around my care home job that i do .to try and help with all your care needs.
My days off are Mondays and Thursdays everyweek.
Im also a mother to four beautiful children of the ages 16,11,10,6 . Im also a wife .My main focus is providing hourly care to people who need assistance with everyday activities. I possess the attributes of being caring, friendly and helpful which adds to my effectiveness as a home carer.
My motivation for caring comes from the desire to help people lead independent lives. I take pride in helping my Service users achieve an improved quality of life while at home, by providing them the care they need.
Unfortunately I do not drive but I am willing to walk or cycle to your home. I have a range of skills that I utilise, including bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care and companionship.
I have experience in caring for people with mild cognitive impairment, bedbound patients, Parkinson's disease patients, those with anxiety and depression, amongst others. When I am not working, I enjoy painting, walking, dancing, card games, cooking, and baking. Additionally, I am comfortable with pets like dogs, cats, rabbits, fish and birds.
